Parking at Walton Arts Center

Walton Arts Center is located in the entertainment district of downtown Fayetteville. There is not a specific parking lot owned and operated by Walton Arts Center, but there are many different options in the immediate area.

The City of Fayetteville recently opened a new parking deck on West Avenue between Dickson and Lafayette. This deck and the Spring Street parking deck are the closest and largest city lots to Walton Arts Center. The West Avenue surface lot has been closed and a new park is under construction in that location.

City of Fayetteville Parking Tips

To make your parking experience quicker and avoid lines at the parking kiosks, download the Park Mobile app for your phone and set up your account in advance. You’ll need your credit card information and your license plate number. Upon arrival you’ll choose your zone according to the signage and make the payment. The Park Mobile app can be used for all city parking lots and street spaces.

To avoid potentially heavy traffic at the parking decks, use the map below to find other parking options near Walton Arts Center. In addition to city lots, several private parking lots are available for public use. Check signage at the lots to determine how to pay. For patrons with mobility needs, we suggest using the Dickson Street loading zone in front of Walton Arts Center. Drop off your guests with wheelchairs or other mobility devices and proceed to the West Avenue Parking Deck for available handicap parking spaces. When the performance has ended, circle around Walton Arts Center via West Avenue to pick up your guests at the same loading zone.

Prepaid Parking

Walton Arts Center patrons can now purchase prepaid event parking for select performances and guarantee a reserved space in the Spring Street parking deck. Typically prepaid parking is not offered during shows in Starr Theater or for special events.

The reserved spaces are accessed from the Spring Street entrance of the parking deck where a Walton Arts Center attendant will confirm your name and direct you to your reserved parking spot. Reserved parking spots will be available two hours before the scheduled performance time and will be valid for up to one hour after the event ends. Please see the parking map below:
