Hailing from Chicago, the Grammy-winning rock band Wilco is coming back to Fayetteville for the first time since 2006. Formed in the mid-'90s, the band is singer-songerwriter-guitarist Jeff Tweedy, bassist John Stirratt, guitarist Nels Cline, multi-instrumentalists Patrick Sansone and Mikael Jorgensen and drummer/percussionist Glenn Kotche. Wilco has released 10 studio albums to date including Mermaid Avenue Volumes 1 & 2, which set original music to song lyrics by the truest of American icons, songwriter Woody Guthrie.
Their latest release, the Grammy-nominated The Whole Love, was released Fall 2011 on their own dBpm Records. Follow Wilco at their website, on Facebook, and Twitter. Don't know anything about Wilco?
