Arts & Economic Prosperity

Arts and culture is a growing industry in Northwest Arkansas. Walton Arts Center worked with Americans for the Arts on a 2010 study that found the non-profit arts and culture sector is a significant economic driver in Northwest Arkansas that generates $46 million in total economic impact. The Arts & Economic Prosperity Study IV also found that Northwest Arkansas’ non-profit arts and culture organizations support 1,488 local full-time equivalent jobs, generate $4 million in government revenue and are a cornerstone of tourism. This is good news for Northwest Arkansas!
