Artosphere 2011 included thought provoking spoken word performances.

The Poetivity Project brought poetry to life throughout Northwest Arkansas!

Poetivity strove to make poetry a part of everyday life in our region. Poetivity 2011 included poetry lesson plans, family poetry ideas, and poetry in businesses from coffee shops to hair salons.


Grow a Film Project

Seedling Film Association kicked off the Grow a Film project at Artosphere 2011. Grow a Film challenges local filmmakers to create 10-minute films focusing on an Artosphere theme.  The event included a panel discussion about sustainable filmmaking featuring Christopher Crane from the Arkansas Film Commission and Jack Roberts, Writer/Producer/Actor of 'The Rock n' Roll Dreams of Duncan Christopher', a screening of 'The Rock n' Roll Dreams of Duncan Christopher', and a Karaoke Party featuring one of the film's stars, 'Simply Irresistible.'

Annie Griffiths shared her stunning photos, her experiences shooting photos around the world for National Geographic, and her work on the effects of climate change on women in developing countries. 


Grow a Film Project: Nature as Third Place

Seedling Film Association presented an evening of original film screenings created around an Artosphere theme.
