Walton Arts Center is a presenting facility located in the heart of Northwest Arkansas with venues that include a 1201-seat auditorium with proscenium stage, a 200-seat variable stage black box theater, a small amphitheater/rose garden, as well as other spaces available for rent. In its 22nd year of operation, Walton Arts Center employs 81 full time and permanent part time staff members, enlists a volunteer force of 310, maintains a six-building campus and operates on an $11+million annual budget.
INTERNSHIPS AT WALTON ARTS CENTER
The internship program currently requires that the internship be a prearranged and structured learning experience scheduled within a specific time-frame and pre-approved. The experience must be relevant to the intern’s academic and/or professional goals and involve work, research, or other activities which are of value and beneficial to the mission of the Museum. An internship is performed under the direct supervision of Walton Arts Center’s staff.

The Communications Department at Walton Arts Center seeks a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the team tasked with promoting artists/the arts, selling tickets, supporting the education and fundraising efforts of Walton Arts Center. The ideal candidate will have the ability and talent to develop ideas, think creatively and conceptually delivering campaigns that meet objectives. This position works closely with the Marketing Director & Coordinator to ensure all artwork is completed and submitted in a timely manner. This position is also responsible for managing and evolving brand standards including the company image and message.
Candidate should be comfortable with taking a project from conception to completion including: project planning, project scheduling, project estimating, and execution of design for print or web and final print production file preparation.
Walton Arts Center is looking for motivated individuals to join our Box Office team. We are currently recruiting for part time Ticket Representative positions. This position is responsible for regular box office duties and to provide exemplary customer service. Sell, process and print tickets, both during regular box office hours and during events and on weekends as requested by the Box Office Supervisor for the Walton Arts Center, Walmart AMP and other partner organizations.
