Walton Arts Center is a presenting facility located in the heart of Northwest Arkansas with venues that include a 1201-seat auditorium with proscenium stage, a 200-seat variable stage black box theater, a small amphitheater/rose garden, as well as other spaces available for rent. In its 22nd year of operation, Walton Arts Center employs 81 full time and permanent part time staff members, enlists a volunteer force of 310, maintains a six-building campus and operates on an $11+million annual budget.

INTERNSHIPS AT WALTON ARTS CENTER
The internship program currently requires that the internship be a prearranged and structured learning experience scheduled within a specific time-frame and pre-approved.  The experience must be relevant to the intern’s academic and/or professional goals and involve work, research, or other activities which are of value and beneficial to the mission of the Museum. An internship is performed under the direct supervision of Walton Arts Center’s staff.

Front Of House - Part Time House Manager

Walton Arts Center is searching for a positive, engaged, talented and qualified individual for a part time House Manager to work mostly evenings and weekends. The position provides leadership, problem solving and support to fellow staff and volunteers in the pursuit of executing Walton Arts Center’s customer service mission during all events - striving to make life sweet for our patrons, our community, and each other. Part-time house managers have excellent customer service skills and utilize good judgment to provide solutions to problems. House Managers also ensure excellent service in our concessions area and act as Walton Arts Center’s gracious hosts for our donor lounge.
